We have shown in AKC since 1975, first Samoyeds and Cavaliers since they were first introduced into the Toy Group in 1996. Due to the enormous health problems inherent in Cavaliers and the expensive health testing that we would need to do to continue as responsible breeders, we have chosen to no longer breed or exhibit them. But, since 2008, we've become involved with Tibetan Spaniels and love them more than we thought we would. They have far fewer health problems and none that are fatal. In fact, the Tibbies often live well into their teens. Linda does the showing while Clif stays home taking care of all the "critters" which in addition to a few older Cavaliers and our Tibbies include 2 Miniature Horses, and too many barn cats to count.
Puppies are raised in our living room and are exposed to all the sights and sounds of a home including TV, doorbell, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher and phones ringing.
Annual eye checks are done by a Board Certified opthomologist and we do not use outside stud dogs who are not also CERF'ed. Now, with the Tibbies, we have more emphasis on eyes than before and all are checked annually.
We breed 1-2 litters per year and all pets are sold on spay/neuter agreements with limited registration in AKC because we feel only those that possess the finest of qualities will be used for breeding to further improve our line.
